What exactly is a mindbump?
A
mindbump is a random blog writing prompt meant to effectively cure a bad case of blogger's block. It is the proverbial opposite of a "brain-fart". In the case of mindbump.com, it also serves as a free blog promotional tool. A mindbump may be written in the form of a question, theory, introduction, prompt, or challenge.

Do I have to be a blog writer to submit a mindbump?
Anyone may submit a mindbump for inclusion on the site. You don't have to have a blog. However, we do not allow prompts with links back to sites that feature pornography, adult content, hate sites, or any form of illegal activity (spam, scams, warez, hacks, cracks, spyware, malware, adware). We do not allow deceptive redirected affiliate URLs. In addition, you must agree with our
terms of use to post any content.

How many mindbumps may I submit?
You may submit as many mindbump blog prompts as you'd like. There is also no limit as to how many URLs you can promote. However, each mindbump must be unique. In other words, you cannot submit the same prompt with links back to multiple URLs.

Is there an approval process?
Our general procedure for prompt approval includes a rigorous 62-point safety inspection, thermal imaging analysis, and extensive crash-testing. In addition, a nationally renowned panel of British writing experts will evaluate each prompt on its literary merit and report their collective assessment for our consideration. However, we find this extensive evaluation process somewhat time-consuming so we usually just approve prompts as long as they look "okay" by our amateur writing standards.
